Filed under: Reality-Free What with all the hoopla surrounding Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon, it's easy to forget NBC's other late night talk show. For those that forgot about him (like me), Carson Daly hosts Last Call with Carson Daly on NBC at 1:35 A.M., following Jimmy Fallon. Just an FYI for those fans, the show has been renewed.
Holy frickin' crap! NBC has three and a half hours of late night talk show programming. Granted, it's cheaper to do, but won't they run out of potential guests after about two weeks? It will become like reality television. People will become famous just for appearing on the show.
On the other hand, NBC could be grooming Carson Daly to eventually take over for Jimmy Fallon. Of course, if that were the case, Carson has being doing the show-hosting thing longer than Fallon. Why involve Fallon to begin with if that was their intent?
