Carrying their weight when it comes to pitching in on the relief efforts, Rihanna and Bono sang out side-by-side during the “Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” in London on Friday (January 22). Held at The Hospital, the Barbadian beauty and U2 frontman joined fellow performers including Jay-Z, The Edge and Coldplay during the fundraising efforts. Talking about the global effort, the gigs main host George Clooney said, “That’s it ... just first and foremost that we can raise a lot of money. If I thought that we could all pick up shovels and go in there and not be in the way, I think a lot of people would do that.” For those kind enough to pitch in, donations can be made online at HopeForHaitiNow.org, over the phone by calling (877) 99-HAITI, by texting the word “GIVE” to 50555 or by mail addressed to Hope for Haiti Now Fund, Entertainment Industry Foundation, 1201 West 5th St., Suite T-700, Los Angeles, CA, 90017.
