Zac Efron is working overtime to put more distance between him and his Disneyfied past, signing on to both star in and executive produce Fire, a thriller based on the same-named graphic novel. E! News confirms that Efron will play an undergrad who is chosen for a special CIA project that tests whether ordinary citizens can�with singing and dancing proper training�be turned into forces to be reckoned with. We're not sure about you, but Fire's starting to sound pretty hot.
