The 82nd Academy Awards wrapped up the awards season Sunday night and fashion-wise the one word that best describes the night's looks is: "Wow!" From Sandra Bullock to Jennifer Lopez and Penelope Cruz, the Oscar ladies definitely were the most glamorous in years.

"The long gowns were fantastic -- the metallic and the shine," Allen B. Schwartz, the design director for ABS, tells ET. "It was incredibly great gowns, elegance and a real throwback to ཤs glamour. I think we always hope for ཤs Hollywood glamour, but last night you got it."

Allen's best picks of the night include Sandra, Jennifer, Penelope, Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz. And the trends he saw included the one-shoulder asymmetrical look, the color red, and metallics and shine with a little bit of bling in a glamorous way.
