Patrick Dempsey Gears Up for 'Transformers 3'

"Grey's Anatomy" star Patrick Dempsey, McDreamy himself, will join the battle of the 'bots on the big screen alongside Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox in 'Transformers 3.'

Dempsey told reporters in Brazil that he'll be tackling a darker role in the film.

The Michael Bay-directed flick hits theaters on July 1, 2011.
