How far was Sylvester Stallone willing to go to make the action look realistic on his new movie, 'The Expendables'? So far, in fact, that real blood was drawn after a stunt sent the veteran star/director to the hospital with a broken neck! A brutal smackdown scene with former pro wrestler "Stone Cold" Steve Austin on the Brazilian set of the movie resulted in a trip to the hospital for the 64-year-old star, captured in the documentary 'Inferno: The Making of The Expendables,' debuting on Epix on Friday, August 20. Faced with a compromised spinal cord -- a disc pushing against it -- and the possibility of paralysis, Stallone chose to soldier through so he could complete his movie. Luckily, his surgery was a success – and he had wife Jennifer and their three children by his side.
